Valentines Day craft idea: jar of hearts!
This is the perfect craft idea for little ones to get involved in Valentines Day fun in an inexpensive, creative way. Use any old Mason Jars, or just about any glass jar will do the trick!
Here we have a charming Valentine’s craft that’s perfect for creative kids and can be enjoyed all year long. Turn old jam jars into heart-warming keepsakes that not only capture the spirit of Valentine’s Day but also give new life to jars you might otherwise throw away.
You'll need
Old jam jars or mason jars
Tissue paper (any colours you like)
PVA glue
Scissors
LED tea light or fairy lights
Steps
1. Start by cleaning your jar thoroughly. Line the jar inside by gluing tissue paper all around.
2. Then, cut out heart shapes from the tissue paper in your chosen colours.
3. Next, use a watered-down PVA glue to stick the paper hearts to the jar. A slightly diluted glue will help the hearts adhere smoothly and clearly.
4. Once everything is dry, place an LED tea light or some fairy lights inside the jar for a gentle glow.
