Motorfest returns to Essex on 14th–15th June 2025, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best family-friendly events of the summer. Taking place over Father’s Day weekend, it’s an easy win if you’re looking for a way to spend quality time together without overthinking it.
Held in the heart of Essex, Motorfest is more than just a car show. It’s a full day out with a mix of entertainment, food, and hands-on fun for all ages. Expect live stunt shows, monster truck rides, fairground attractions, live music, an inflatable village for the kids, street food, bars, and loads more in between.

The Amavans Arena: Stunts, Noise, Action
The stunt arena is one of the big draws. With engines roaring and performers pulling off proper tricks, it’s loud, high-energy, and fun to watch. Whether you’re into motors or not, it’s hard not to get caught up in the atmosphere.
Something to Take Home: Shopping Village
The Shopping Village is packed with stalls offering everything from car gear to clothing and collectables. It’s a good mix of useful bits and things you didn’t know you needed, worth a wander even if you’re not a big shopper.
LEGO Fans: Brick Fest
Brick Fest brings LEGO into the spotlight with displays, hands-on building areas, and traders selling everything from sets to loose bricks. Kids love it, and there’s plenty to keep parents interested too.
TV, Film & Cosplay Zone
Film and TV fans can meet walkabout characters, see screen-accurate vehicles, and get photos with favourites from Star Wars, Stranger Things and more. It’s a bit of a bonus section, especially if your kids are into dressing up or big movie moments.
Big Bounce Fest: Inflatable Fun for Kids
The inflatable village is one of the best spots for kids – full of slides, obstacle courses and giant bouncers. It’s colourful, chaotic fun, and a great way for them to burn off some energy.

Motor Slam: Family Wrestling Showdown
Motor Slam is a wrestling show that’s all about family-friendly fun. Big moves, bigger personalities, and plenty of crowd interaction, it’s easygoing entertainment that’s great for kids (and grown-ups who enjoy a bit of showmanship).
